Google has also used https as a ranking signal since 2014, so a secure site helps in search as well. Some hosts sell certificates as an extra; here it is part of the $130 yearly price.

The installer creates the files and database for you, so a new WordPress site is ready to log into in minutes instead of needing manual configuration. Yes, websites can be moved between hosts. Tell us where your site is hosted now and we will explain what moving it involves. A move usually means copying the site’s files and database to the new server, checking that everything works there, and then pointing your domain to the new address.

Done in that order, visitors keep seeing the old site until the new one is ready, so there is little or no downtime. If your business email runs through your current host, it needs to be planned into the move as well. It is also worth checking when your current hosting renews, so you are not paying for two plans longer than necessary.
