Mastering the art of turning visions into reality….
To me, business is more than just a means to make a living; it is a reflection of the complexities and nuances of life itself. As I continue on my journey to bring my visions to life, I am constantly reminded of the dynamic nature of business and the challenges, certainties, and uncertainties that come with it.

My passion for both technology and business has been with me since my first job as a photo specialist in Cambridge, Boston back in 2005. Over the years, I have honed my skills and developed a keen eye for turning my ideas into reality.

What drives me forward in my professional life is the satisfaction of providing outstanding service and receiving positive feedback from my clients at the end of each project. I take pride in my work and enjoy the process of taking on new challenges and pushing myself to exceed expectations. I believe that this mindset is what sets me apart in the industry and motivates me to continue growing both personally and professionally.

Growing up

Born in 1986 in Cincinnati, Ohio, I grew up with the influence of my mother, an English instructor, and my father, a physicist-engineer who worked for the General Electric Company (GE) as part of the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon Program. Growing up in a multicultural household, I inherited my family’s values, curiosity, and passion for science and technology.

After completing my high school education at Istanbul Kabatas High School, a prestigious boarding school set in a former Ottoman Palace, I took a gap year in Boston, Massachusetts. It was during this time that I was offered my first job as a photo specialist in Cambridge, under the management of an individual who later excelled to work at the White House during the Obama Administration. I still maintain a close friendship with her brother, who currently serves as an aviation officer and city planner in Staten Island, NY.

The following year, I made the move to Delaware to attend the University of Delaware, choosing the school in part to be closer to my cousin, a resident doctor from Wisconsin, and her husband. It was here that I further honed my passion for science and technology, fueling my curiosity and shaping my values as I prepared to embark on a career that would enable me to turn my visions into reality.

Professional Life

After working part-time throughout most of my college years, my interest in web development and web 2.0 began to take shape. Web 2.0 was an exciting new world when platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Amazon, and eBay were emerging. Understanding the creative and rapidly evolving face of all industries was crucial, especially when social media marketing was in its early stages in the early 2010s. With the lack of readily consumable knowledge, as an early millennial, I had to reverse engineer and explore many of these developments and potentials to use them as business tools and offer them as a service. To prepare for my brand’s launch, I spent two months in Sweden with my best friend from high school, who is now a software engineer and manager for Spotify. In 2011, I officially became a freelancer and started promoting my service to my professional circle, which resulted in acquiring my very first client, an architecture firm in West LA, through word-of-mouth marketing.

My expertise required a great deal of independent research, initiative, self-motivation, technical and customer service skills. I am fluent in both Turkish and English languages and have a keen eye for detail and logic in general, thanks to my coding skills. I have the enthusiasm and determination to take on the responsibility of any project within my expertise and ensure that I make it a success.

Throughout my professional life, I have lived on both the East and West Coasts of the United States, gaining extensive experience in office environments, housing, and service industries. These opportunities helped me acquire skills and the ability to work with clients from different walks of life. I have also traveled to South Africa, Asia, and Australia for 3.5 years while working, making me a highly multicultural person who can easily fit in, relate and quickly adapt to different cultures and individuals

Trust & Deliverability

I believe in fostering open communication and consider it a critical factor in the success of any project I undertake. To gauge the success of a project, I ask two essential questions: Did I exceed the expectations of my client, and was the project completed within the given timeframe? If the answer to both questions is a resounding “YES,” I am genuinely satisfied with my work. In my experience, I’ve come across numerous clients who were taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals or companies that overcharged them for subpar services. As a result, I prioritize integrity in all my dealings, and my actions and decisions are always guided by the principles of honesty, transparency, and professionalism.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I’m excited to meet you and explore the possibilities of working together. Have a fantastic day
